Ascernity is an innovative, balanced systemic fungicide developed by Syngenta, designed to provide reliable and long‑lasting protection against diseases. Ascernity prevents spores from developing into mycelium on the leaf surface – before they penetrate the plant. Once the mycelium has penetrated the leaf, Ascernity can stop the disease from spreading before any symptoms become visible in the turf. As a fungal disease develops, the pathogen exploits the glucose produced by the plant. Ascernity effectively blocks the fungal cells’ ability to absorb this sugar – which quickly prevents further development and spread of the disease.

Ascernity is a fungicide intended for golf greens and tees, providing long‑lasting and well‑balanced protection against Microdochium patch, dollar spot and yellow patch. Ascernity combines two different active ingredients with two different modes of action, delivering strong and durable protection against turf diseases at various stages of their development.
Benzovindiflupyr (Solatenol™) is an SDHI fungicide and the first pyrazole‑carboxamide‑based control technology for professional turf in Finland.
Difenoconazole belongs to the DMI group and complements the effect.
This dual action provides flexibility in the timing of applications and reduces the risk of resistance. Ascernity is particularly suitable for golf greens and tees where the turf is required to be of the highest possible quality. Duration of activity: 2–4 weeks.
