Overtake works against a broad spectrum of broadleaf weeds and is taken up mainly through the foliage. The best effect is achieved when the weeds are small and actively growing.
Spring treatment only, no earlier than April. Spring- or summer-sown grass can be treated from the two-leaf stage, while autumn-sown grass should be treated only the following spring. Can be used on all soil types. Avoid spraying during drought unless irrigation is carried out, and avoid spraying on stressed or wet grass (cold, drought, pests, nutrient deficiency, etc.). Avoid mowing for 3 days before and after spraying. Wait at least four weeks after treatment before new sowing. Grass clippings from treated areas may be used as mulch only after the third mowing. This means that the grass must be removed after the first two mowings. Avoid drift to other crops and non-target plants. The product must not be used closer than 5 metres from surface water in order to protect aquatic organisms. Other products containing fluroxypyr must not be used on the same area during the same year. To avoid resistance development, Overtake should not be used more than 2 out of 3 years on the same area.
