Even the best plant protection product or fertiliser will not deliver its full potential if it does not reach the right place. Uneven spray patterns, drift and poor leaf coverage mean wasted product and inconsistent results. Syngenta XC nozzles are designed to solve exactly these problems.
Even results on uneven terrain. The unique orifice design of XC nozzles ensures uniform coverage even when the spraying height is low. In comparative tests, conventional nozzles created up to 25 % variability in spray distribution, while XC nozzles kept the variability below 3 % across the full boom width.
Less spray drift. Innovative air induction technology forms a cushion of air inside every droplet, reducing the risk of drift and improving droplet retention on the leaf. XC nozzles produce less than 3 % drift-susceptible droplets, compared to up to 14 % with conventional nozzles. As a result, more of the product hits the intended target and more suitable spraying days become available.
Comprehensive coverage from every side of the leaf. The rearwards facing angle of the nozzles counteracts the forward movement of the sprayer, creating coverage all around the leaf, not just on top. The angle has been optimised in wind tunnel tests for typical golf course conditions and operating speeds.
Better work rate and efficiency. XC nozzles enable spraying at lower water volumes, increasing work rates and reducing the need for refilling. At the same time, product efficacy improves as it reaches the target more accurately and evenly.
